Ya thats kinda my plan.. I haven't had an update in a while i have been working a lot and saving money so i can really put some parts and work into the supra over the winter.. But on Monday im going to be getting my block and head back from the machine shop, and i also painted the window trim the other day.. It really needed it so it made a big difference. The car is really dirty cause it has been raining a lot but here are a couple pics, ill post more when i clean it.

Ok i got an update, i got back from picking up the motor and had to go straight to work yesterday so i didn't have time for pics. The place did a really good job i am very happy with how it came out and the price. The head is in really bad shape around the coolant holes but it will work for now.. Its as smooth as glass Tomorrow i am gonna degrease and paint the oil pan and install the oil pump, lots of pictures to come...

 

Didn't get to the oil pan today maybe tomorrow, and i need to pick up a few bolts to do the oil pump, but i did work on something else...

Cause it looks better than rust?

 

I painted it black because everything else on the engine is gonna be shinny for the most part. And the rust was another reason, and plus silver gets dirty to fast. Black will look goo no matter what. And the black looks really clean in person even if it gets oil or anything on it, silver would look dirty instantly. So i did get the oil pump installed today, and i painted the valve covers (and yes der_meister_08 they are black!!!) now im waiting on a gasket kit and ill get to put some more stuff on the block, but for now kinda on hold... What do you guys think?

 

lol i wasnt gonna give you shit just wondering but i dont know if the black vc's will look too great with everything else being black too. well see though

 

You will like the valve covers.. They are a gloss black and i polished some of it. It came out really good. Ill post pics later lol on the update side of things i haven't done much.. I'm waiting for my gasket set and water pump so i can keep putting stuff together on the engine, and i decided i am gonna get coilovers and brakes next. I found some JIC SF-1 coilovers for a good price. Are they good quality? Any input helps so i can get them ordered soon thanks guys

 

Its been a while since the last update.. I ran into some problems with the motor so i have to take it back to the machine shop, on the bright side when i take the motor back i am planning on getting all the body work done on the car, right now i am working on replacing some body pieces and such... Up dates as i get stuff done, (for anyone who might be following this lol)

 

The 7m died the other night... Blown head gasket... FML :banghead:, I guess the gte will be needed sooner than i planned

I knew it was bound to happen i was just hoping not this soon... man i hope the swap goes good too. I plan i getting it painted when the motor is out.. Like a black with gold metal flake maybe???

 

The STi Java Black Pearl is pretty cool. Gold flake with a black translucent coat on top.

 

it has been so long since i have been on here... i started school and its been way busy, but i have been working on the supra here and there. I finally got to wire brushing and painting my new oil pan, came out good i think..

i also polished my water housing piece

the biggest project i have been working on lately was putting in this brand new dash i got it for a steal, but i never want to install one again haha


put on a new mud-flap

and picked up some JDM MK3 Kouki OEM Taillights

and just a random picture i kinda liked..

making some progress i guess lol once i get a chance to get the motor out and go pick my new motor up from the machine shop some updates should follow.. i hope

hey if u want the jdm greddy trust front bumper and carbon fiber headlight covers before u get it all painted hit me up i will give u pics and price over email.. both are brand new!!! and have small interior parts and head units with supra wiring available! i have had two supras.. 87 and an 88...

 

The pressure wash made a huge difference, much better.
