man, that's funny, a DX taking the S14. kewl, rain or no rain. if it was 110mph in the snow, then you'd really get a smack on the head.:slap: course, i doubt youse guys woulda raced in the snow anyways, unless you were sideways.=) shoots, i can't wait till it snows here again where i live, so i can be a wannabe drifter in my civic again yaaay
dont sweat it Specter, i know how it is when your at a light and some ass pulls up and revs! you cant back down. i've never backed down from a race, even if it was up to 110 in the rain, so be it! sometimes its like a reflex, you just do it!!! NO HESITATION!!!!! :rocks:
man racing in the rain is some scary shit. Stock EP tires suck... in any weather! period! I was just driving 60-70 mph on the road in rain and it started hydroplaning. Other cars were passing me
i brake for rain.... handbrake that is! master of the white water drift! 110mph inthe rain is a little beyond me. but i agree with a challenge being instinct no matter if it is rain "On green go! 1st one that finds a tree.... looses!" lol looks like a DX proves to be (d)amn (x)treme in wet conditions. ok enough with the silly acronyms, kool thread none the less. seriously though, dont kill yourself.
See, I know the limits of my car which is why I love how people and scared of rain and snow and I just go nuts. My manager at work was just yelling at me beause I was flying up this winding hill. It's posted at 30mph, of course I do 60... even in the rain tonight. And people laugh at my all season tires. I love them in IL. And they are still Z rated. Go Pirelli PZero Nero M&S tires
+1 You may good at driving in the rain but when the other guys slams into you at 110 thats not what youll be worried about
