oil filter was a toyota one, so im hoping it wasnt OE....

and let me say, filling and flushing coolant took forever with an MR. :baby: oh, and the oil filter is worse than hondas. right next to the exhaust manifold. :slap:

next things on my list are spark plugs and valve cover gaskets. car drive fine. i drove it a few houses down and back (fuckin suspended license...)

and you're surprised it's wrose then a Honda???

think about it... you're working on a car designed by Toyota [the king of all clusterfucks] where they crammed a 1.6L L4 and trans in a space normally reserved for a trunk, cut that in a about 1/3 to make room for your "trunk" and then made everything fit...

    Honda = 5lb shit in 2lb bag
    Toyota AW11 = 30lb shit in 1lb bag

heads up on whats going on.

ive placed some orders on parts and have a bunch of little stuff comming.

    - italian calfskin shift boot -

i got the black stiched one
    awww.twosrus.com_catalog_images_LSB1.JPG

    - Shifter Base Bushings -

This kit replaces the squishy rubber bushings that support the shifter base. The bushings are CNC precision turned from 6061-T6 bar stock, de-burred, then Alodine coated to give them a nice corrosion resistant gold finish.

    atwosrus.com_new__images_Purchased_Products_SpeedSource_basebush.jpg

    - shift cable bushings -

This shifter bushing kit will help to tighten the feel of your shifter by eliminating the stock rubber bushing in the shift cable. After a few years, the stock rubber and metal sleeved bushing will wear and deteriorate, making the shifter feel less precise and slowing down your shifting times! These CNC machined solid brass bushings give you back your shifter feel, and really connect you to the transmission.

    - c-pillar trim -

Replacement trim for the three black plastic parts around the rear window

    awww.twosrus.com_catalog_images_12311975.JPG

    - gauge cluster -

speedo didnt work, so i had no idea how fast i am going

    ai5.ebayimg.com_01_i_000_a2_08_6dc6_1.JPG

    - 93+ MR2 Turbo Brake MC -

MK1 and 91-92 master cylinders are 7/8" while the 93+ BMC is 15/16." i will have to bend the brake lines to fit, but other than that its a direct bolt up :)

mk1 on left, mk2 kouki bmc on the right

all of those shifter bushings should stiffen up the shifter and make it a bit more precise. the shift boot was way past due with the torn and rag-like cloth one that was in there. i think the new one should look nice. :) the cluster as i already explained, was needed for knowing how fast im going to avoid another ticket. :slap: and the brake MC is much needed because well, today my pedal sank to the floor and a brake upgrade is always a good one.

later i plan to do this brake upgrade :D

    ill keep you updated ;)

yeah yeah, ZG flares are a go as soon as i find some wheels to fill them. any help on 4x100 15"/16" wide (8"+) wheels with a 0 to -20 offset would be helpful

    thanks guys :)

oh, i also will be picking up a new hood, engine cover, and trunk lid for $85. red with good paint :D

i'll keep my eyes out for wheels, not going to be easy to find wheels that fit those criteria though.

is there anyway you can make the AW11 4x114.3 or 5x114.3? from a manufacturers' standpoint, they have to know that making wheels with that low an offset with a 4x100 bolt pattern won't be that popular being most 4x100 cars are FF. The only RWD 4x100 cars I can think of is the MX-5 and the AW11.

there are spacer/adapters that are on ebay to adapt it to 4x114.3
