Just go to some junkyards and see if you can find a SC engine to pull a clutch pulley off of.

    not going to happen.

    1) the 4agze isnt common
    2) with 1" of clearance to the frame rail, the pulley isnt just going to pull off

Don't buy a new car. Not having money for parts sucks just as bad as it breaking all the time.
Well, I have some money... there is just the fact that I should be saving money to move out of my parents house... But that's no fun.
But it is Tuesday, go buy a lotto ticket. That will solve all our problems.

no, breaking all the time sucks. at least you can drive your car. and people dont keep saying shit about how your car never runs blah blah blah

i realized i can easily afford a used ZZW30 MR2. like, $350-400 a month for it (plus insurance, ~$200?) and i make over a grand a month. id even be SAVING money by doing it. but it all comes down to if i can get money for a down payment from my dad. im sure i can convince him though.

OH, and there is more aftermarket support for the zzw30. cusco, tanabe, tein, etc all make coilovers. lots of support for the 1zzfe motor (or even swap in the 2zz). did i mention it uses a similar gear box as my aw11? so i can even swap my shifter bushings over to it haha.

it sure would be nice to drive a car i could call my own again :(

dont give up now. i know things dont seem soo great now, and trust me i know how it goes with having a car that isnt running, i had my crx sitting in my drive way for about 7 or 8 months, i pretty much had my motor complete just needed to be bored and put together, i would have had a pretty high hp lsv-t crx but after so many people told me they were tired of my not having a car that runs or all the parts in the garage.. bla bla bla i ended up getting rid of it. and i really regret it :(.. i just say before you go on impulse take some time and figure out if the small problems are really ganna make or break the car..
/end rant.. haha sorry.. i really like your car too haha..

yeah i had the same sort of deal with my dc4 with an lsvtec. took my 8 months to build (17 year old building a car) and then the y1 lsd transmission blew apart (literally, nothing was good but the case and lsd). i said fuck it and sold it all. i drove the car a few months later when the owner put in a CTR trans, and missed it.

but i think everyone misses their old cars. it is time for me to get a reliable car. EVERY winter my car goes down. 4 years in a row, 4 different cars. (integra, integra and crx, s13, and mr2) i DO need a reliable car, and it will be a better move financially for me also. (investing 300% over the car's initial value is such a stupid move)

i already have a car picked out, and is at a local carmax. 51k on it too.

should be picking it up thursday night if all goes well :)

    Do What Makes You Happy

    Your Builds Get Really Intense
and You Spend ALOT of TIME
    and Hard Earned Blood Money
    Into Making Some Sick Rides,
    Hell You Know You Do,
    Then You Stop,
Say Fuck- It Get Another Car...

Its Really Comes Down to What Makes You Happy.
Some of My Builds I Do, I Don't Post Because It
Doesn't Even Make Me Want to Spend
Time or Money Into Fixing It Up
So I Don't Have Project Threads on
them Because the Motivation Just Isn't
There for me to Spend Time or Money Like I Use Too...

Just Do What EVER Makes You Happy and Motivated
Invest Time and Money In What YOU Love.

May It Be Your Family, Your Girlfriend, Your Friends.

Just Remember Life is Too Short -Just Don't Waste It.

thanks john. you wouldnt believe how many positive comments i got on it from all over the place. this aw11 really did a 180 and came around into a cool car.

unfortunately, i need a reliable car, and with that something with less miles that i am not afraid to drive long distances (one sister being in milwauke, moving to green bay, 6.5hrs away)

i dont have the space or the money for both. parting it out and using the money towards the mk3 is my best option. after it is paid off, then i will start modding. (though i may stick some s.techs on it to just get it lower a little :slap:
