    yeah.

discovered i need to buy crush washers for the fuel filter (stupid me trying to be cheap and reuse them). i may just gen -AN fittings and call it a day though.

car doesnt crank. pretty sure it's the starter. it was having problems starting sometimes before i pulled the NA motor.

also realized i need a 4 wire o2 sensor as the NA one is 1 wire and the SC one is 4 wire.

here comes all the nickle and dime shit.

got my starter, i'll let you know how it goes.

i was told toyota starters are prone to worn contact points, and they will just click then they go bad. (like mine)

ok, after studying the wiring diagram, i believe the positive terminal isnt getting power (should be constant power when in 'on'). i will check my theory tomorrow. if it isnt, then i will run a power wire from the battery (like OEM does, but ill route it better)

should run tomorrow if it is what i think.

yeah there should be power to the + terminal of the starter all the time...

it's when the solinoid clicks on then the starter motor gets power

    w/e you're working on it

    found yer problem.

wire that sends the signal to the starter pretty much ended about a foot down the harness. tested adding power to it and the starter spins and does it's thing. (starter was out of trans, so no start yet)

    stay tuned :googly:
