lol thats good yeah that should take care of the problem also depending on when the radiator was flushed last it may be a little clogged or corroded and that will cause overheating cuz the fluid wont flow properly and that can be easily fixed at a local garage for little money. just another idea

well the car has been driving fine for now. tried fixing that coolant leak, still no go. so ill just keep adding coolant every week or so...

on the bright side, my gze swap is 99% ready to go. i replaced the water pump with the one that i ordered when my car first had the overheating problems. the timing belt looks like it was recently replaced (non-OEM belt) so no need to change that (also a non-interference engine). i also replaced some other misc gaskets that will be easier then the motor is out of the car.

i realized a knock sensor wasnt included with the motor i bought. so im sourcing one now. i think i found one for a steal at $50 shipped (toyota wants like $300 and most seem to sell upwards of $100 used)

id like to get a guy to come by and build me a custom header, but we'll see...

yeah well the only ones available are:

    -TRD ($400+)
-stock 20v header, slightly modified to work (hard to find someone to part with it)
-OBX/Pacesetter (will rust or break welds within a year)
    -custom

so custom seems to be the way to go with that and the exhaust (though i do want an HKS Sport exhaust, when the time comes)

oh, and i finally bought a Photobucket Pro account, so i have unlimited bandwidth... i needed that.

i know where the leak is, it leaks right at the water outlet that goes to my fill cap. ive seen it drip out of them when running or right after i shut it off.

ive decided that i dont really like the sparkle, and the hood is coming off with the one i had going back on. ill try something else with the hood, i just dont feel the sparkle.

i think it would be cool to put on for like a drift event i think
and it might look better with wheels on the car so you should get them.

sweet! i had a friend who went to Marmian Academy down there :)

to be on topic, here's the 95 MR2 Turbo (non-ABS) BMC i installed a looooong time ago, just never took pics of. it is 15/16th bore instead of 7/8th like the standard AW11 (and early SW20) BMC. good upgrade, similar to the Z32 BMC on S13.
