    got the car.

i tried some wetsanding on the DR side headlight. looks like the car just needs a good wetsand and clear coat. the rust in the rear will be fixed with either A) flares or B) wide body.

    stay tuned :)

i think the s13 was easier. but the dc4 was even easier :p

i found some water in between the valve covers (one for intake one for exhaust) and it had my plugs covered in water/oily residue. :attention: i need atleast new vealve cover gaskets :baby:

i was going to pull the VC's off, but the washer that is under the rounded 10mm nut is threaded. bad design by the engineer. i have no idea how to get them off. they seem stuck :( i was going to paint the valve cover today to freshen up the motor :roflmao:

as far as the paint, it looks like its just the clear coat that faded off. the reason the rear is in better condition is because the car was in an accident or something. i have paperwork showing that the rear was repaired and painted.

i also found paperwork for rust prevention coating :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

    that was a joke...

i need opinions for my 1/4 panel.

OEM, ZG flares, or big boxy flares?

OEM- would require the most amount of replacement metal, but have the oem look and be a bit more subtle (subtle?! who does that? )
ZG- oem-like look but a whole lot less welding (only the rear mud flap area) and it would allow me to run wider wheels
Boxy flares - i can run basically any wheel i want and not worry too much. would also require front fenders

im leaning toward the ZG flare route right now, but im still unsure

mmm that could be the cause as well... but either way those need to be replaced [as with the cap and rotor, oil, trans oil, spark plugs, etc.]

    shut up...

I don't know yet. I somehow owe thousands on my credit cards.. think most of it is the Vegas trip I bought.

And still thinking if I want to build a GSR for the hatch since the car is pretty mint or sell for something new. but then have a car payment..
