I'm keeping the KA24E for now. carbs, solid lifter conversion, port and polish, header, cam, cam sprocket, valve springs, 0.030 overbore, high comp. pistons and a balenced rotating assembly are the plans. i should hit 200hp at the wheels atleast. thats plenty until i build a 13b and get that in as planned originally.

well, carbs, not ITBs. i could go the ITB route, but i dont want to fab stuff. going with a carburator setup everything bolts up and i get to eliminate wiring :)

cut out the battery tray (15 or so spot welds had to be drilled out, which was a bitch), removed AC, and moved some wires that didnt require soldering.

tonight im moving the charcoal canister (deciding on location still), soldering to move my fuse boxes (needs to lengthen wires), and getting my motor clean and ready to install back into the car

tuck is about half way done, pics up tonight.

    maybe...

some Nissan guy once said, "atleast Honda guys got one thing right." referring to the fire proof, fluid soaking socks that are popular on Hondas :p

i couldnt agree more. i needed them for track use. all fluid resivours need to be covered by something that will absorb fluid if it boils over (clutch, PS, brake)

so far, fairly easy. it's just time consuming.

-cut each wire and lable with a number on each end (fuse box side and engine bay side)
-count how many of each gauge wire and cut pieces to length
    -mark each with corresponding number
    -solder fuse box side on
-mount fuse box in desired location
    -run homemade harness as planned
    -solder engine bay side

im currently on "solder fuse box side." its taken me about 3hrs to do the first 3 steps (probably the longest steps)
