Update: I slid though a red light. (camera enforced, so I had motivation to not blow through a yellow) The brakes locked up and shitty tires. I hope I don't get a ticket.

I can't see shit when it's dark and raining. Yesterday I bought wiper blades, which helped a little with removing the water, instead of smearing it. I think this car needs HIDs too.

This is going to be a long winter...

 

Try clay barring the windshield. Made a huge difference in mine.

Clutch is done. I just did it at work (still there actually, dynoing our drag EK). Found out my master cylinder is leaking May as well get a slave too. Those will be next, and tomorrow I'm going to attempt to wire in a Kenwood flip screen and a DVD player.

 

Oh, and I found out both axle boots on the driver's side axle are torn.

Just ordered:
Driver's side Axle
Front and Rear Rotors
Front and Rear Pads
Clutch Master Cylinder
Clutch Slave Cylinder


Hopefully that's the end of it... running out of money.

 

Got the pads locally, axle and rotors arrived today.

EDIT: got the clutch master and slave

 

everything is installed besides the axle. Turns out they sent me a B series driver's side axle (part listed incorrectly on their website). Hopefully they send me a new one soon.

Clutch pedal feels much better. It actually has resistance! :roflmao: Rear driver's side caliper pin was seized. I managed to wiggle it out, cleaned all the rust off, lubed it, and put it in. (get your minds out of the gutter!) Works great!

Yesterday I installed the Kenwood VZ907 touch screen monitor. I want to get the navigation add-on for it I still have to install my dvd player. I was missing a plug, so I will have to get creative.

got CEL #43. "Fuel Supply System"

Hoping it's just a clogged filter (looks original). If not, I'll stick some LS injectors I have. If that doesn't fix it, I have to spend money on a fuel pump or pressure regulator

I got a free AEM fuel filter from a parts car at work. Off to install it now.


EDIT: Upgrade! :roflmao: I might be getting a free short ram intake too.

I got that CEL again. I'm going to swap in some LS injectors that I had laying around. It's probably the fuel pressure regulator though...

I am spending no money on these parts I got the short ram intake. I have a filter laying around, but I need a coupler for the SRI to TB.

I also put in some B18b1 injectors I had laying around. Looks like the CEL for 'fuel delivery system' hasn't come back in similar conditions.

 

Newly installed: medium sized dent in the door.

Locks froze, I needed to get to work, I got pissed, I kicked the door.
