My Del Slo Engine Build-up

no pics yet (i lost my usb cable), but, i just found out my timing is way off... will have to get that zeroed in soon... runs like crap, poor mpg, and wants to die everytime i let off the gas...

 

great choice of engine, you will enjoy alot the lsd in the tight touge hehe, seriously lsd is THE thing to have to have fun , so nice build up

Nice pics man. My buddy has the skunk2 pro series intake manifold for the d16y8. Its helps out alot notice a difference in 2rd and 3rd gear. Looks like a clean swap there. Valve cover looks a bit rough, but it's all about function anyway

 

yeah the valve cover was flawless but chipped really easily. so i painted over it so at least it'd be one color it is now UBER RED!!!

 

well after further inspection, the swap had some problems. the fucking asshole (mechanic) didn't bolt down the two torque mounts, tighten the ground on the thermostat, screw in the top screw for the clutch pedal, fried my ecu, left a gaping hole in my floorboard, didn't wire up my starter correctly, didn't wire up my reverse lightts abnd a bunch of other things.

yeah that was with damn near full piping but no muffler
