hahaha, thanks guys. sorry i haven't been on here in a while, not having internet at home sucks a little bit. but, i make it on when i can. my car finally got to hawaii on the 14th...she'll be due for an oil change here shortly...i'm gonna try out some royal purpal synthetic this time. i've been checking the local car shops to see if i can find some good rims...gotta do some junkyard hunting too.

will do chad:thumbup: i bought a SPC rear camber kit for my car yesterday from a shop in town called vakamon motorsport...i just call 'em vakamon's. kewl little shop, 240sx's with sr20 swaps all over the place down there...gotta snap some piktarz when i can. i am hoping to make it out to the junkyards on one of my days off next week. hopefully i find some good ish for teh civic.:woot:

 

damn, i aint been on in a minute. work's been keeping me busy lately. the spc kit is working good...still haven't scoped out any of the local junkyards yet. going surfing this weekend with some new friends i made at work, so for now, my car is not getting anything done to it. i'm kinda just building up my monies right now, and then i'm gonna splurge on the car again...i'm planning on going with the SiR front lip...some window tint...new exhaust...possibly a B20 swap...we'll see...for now i'm content with how she looks and runs...i've been too busy to even think about working on the car right now...i still gotta do an oil change, but i wanna order another HAMP filter before i do that. shipping costs to Hawaii are high. well, back to work. alohaz

 

Mark! JDM CHAT! It has been a while for me too! I FINALLY installed that rear strut tower bar, and.... THE CREAKING STOPPED! :woot: The car is taking a backseat now, to my computer, because I am trying to save monies too.. But I am still going strong and having a great time doing it!

i bought a Yakima roof rack for my car the other day...the thing is awesome, now i just need to find that Yakima front wind deflector thing for it, then it'll be super cool. i'll see if i can't scrounge up a pic of what i'm referring to. other than that, no new stuff for the car. glad to hear the strut tower brace worked out for ya chad. well, back to werk, WEWT!

......i hate myself right now cause i had to do a reconstruction inspection on my car today and i overslept and missed my appointment. damn you 12 hour shifts! so now i have to get an alignment check done again, and i have a new recon appoinment for the 3rd.:googly: in hawaii, every year your car has to get safety inspected...and if your car is lowered, has rims other than factory, etc you need to go get your car inspected for reconstruction. once you pass recon, they give you a sticker to put on your bumper...then you go back to the safety inspection place and pick up another 2 stickers to put on your bumper...then after all that you can renew your Hawaii registration for your vehicle. damnit, i knew i shouldn't have laid down on my bed! :roflmao: :roflmao: ah wellz, no worries i guess. off to find the fairing for my roof rack today. peace.

 

i bought the fairing yesterday, it completes the look of the roof rack. i got to try it out yesterday when i went to go surf, and the racks work great. now i'm just coping with a bad sunburn.
