That deal fell through after I drove 2 hours and bought new tires for that guy. What a douche. Good news is now I have some even nicer wheels lined up that ive always wanted. I should be getting them within a few weeks so watch out!

    Thanks^

Ok so I got new wheels :) Heres a quick pic of how they look BEFORE I adjust the camber and lower it a good bit once I finish rolling the front fenders. It looks pretty goofy but I already rolled the back fenders and added a few degrees of negative camber. It still rubs so I might have to camber it a little more and eventually get a narrower tire so i can get a better stretch.

Here's how it sat after I had it way up just so I could drive it:

Ok so I literally spent the whole day adjusting my suspension to get what I was looking for. Unless I camber a LOT. It was a total pain in the ass and I got it close enough to how I want for now. I had to roll the fenders too. I just went and took it for a spin though and before I even leave the neighborhood I notice something is really wrong. The car is just all over the place and felt really unsafe I pulled over and looked to make sure my wheels werent falling off or anything crazy and I didnt see anything wrong so I decided to take it down the road for a second. The car was pulling all over the place and felt super sketch, so thinking I forgot to tighten something I take all the wheels off and inspect everything and it was perfect so I went for another drive and I heard the wheels squeak around a pretty regular corner and then just start squeaking all over and I realized my toe got way off somehow. I fuckin wore down the inside of the front tires a good bit too just from the little drive so I was kinda pissed about that. But oh well Ill have to go get an alignment tomorrow. Im gonna have to drive to the damn place too. Even tho its right around the corner its killing me to mess these tires up.

Ok well without further a due:

I had to raise the car another quarter inch after this, cause it was too low!

    that looks awsome.
but the toe will mess your tire up with a quickness i would know my rear toe needs to be adjusted bad but i have to spend almost 500 on just the rear toe rods. but i guess you have to pay to play with the big boys right, i miss my honda days. but i'm not done with them just triing something different.
maybe you should look into buying an allignment kit their not that expensive about 200-300 and then think of the money you'll save at the allignment shop and on tires. i'll be buying a set this summer i hope.

keep up the work you car looks beter and beter every time i see it.

not too shabby. toe is a killer, i had a set of tires wear out in a few months. also make sure you dont rub, so take some turns a little harder when you are aligned. :)

Where is a good place to get an alignment kit? Also how hard is it to adjust accurately yourself? I just spent $85 on an alignment this morning and they showed me that the camber on the drivers side is 1 degree lower, front and back, than on the passenger side. It doesnt seem to be a big deal but I was told if I adjust it its gonna throw everything off. I have spent a lot of money on alignments and am really going to look into one of these kits you speak of.
