My 94 Civic Coupe: Motor installed!

I have MUCH better things to be spending my money on right now too that isnt even related to cars, but I couldnt refuse the offer. Im honestly takin way way to long to get these coilovers on though so I promise Ill put them on on my next day off!

 

dude i say why does it matter if they are off ebay they use the same electronics and most of them now come with a 1yr warrantee. they are proly ganna last, and if they dont they send you a replacement so where are you ganna find a better deal for around $50 even if they last just over a year im pretty sure it would be worth my $50..

Exactly y0! I know he only had them on his car for like 3 months too before he totaled it, so theyre like new too.

 

OK so heres what I did today.

I changed my thermostat cause its never been changed and my car takes a while to heat up when its cold so I think it was getting stuck open.

I also changed out the front water outlet with one I started to polish just cause I might as well.

Installed the brackets to hold the brake lines.

Raised up the car like a half inch.

Changed my tranny fluid.

looks nice man. i need to replace my thermostat too, it stays open lol. how are those Megan seats? im gona swap mine out later, i may still go with the buddy club buckets though.

 

Thanks. The seats are awesome. Very comfortable and sturdy. They're collision tested for 15g and even tho the weren't my top choice for brand, they were 130 total for both brand new so theres noo way I can complain.

 

did you shade your corners yourself or buy em like that?

Yea, I shaded them with rc car, spray paint tint, then clearcoat. It comes out pretty nice.

 

i was wondering if you had used nightshades, its a paint made for that, i had used it once but when i sprayed it with clear it didnt turn out right, they kinda looked matte.
but i like how yours turned out

 

Thanks. I was looking at the VHT night shades, but its like $20 bucks. The rc car stuff was $5 or $6. Also, the reason yours came out matte looking is probably because you sprayed the clear from to far away or didnt put a thick enough coat. Putting a pretty thick coat, but not too thick is what makes it shine nice.

i sprayed my clear on / my gun; i know how to paint i had some extra ppg clear laying around, but i dont really know what went wrong.

 

did you try buffing it?

 

Yea, as long as u get a shit load of clear on there, you can always wetsand it shiney.
