Random Update. Water pump is shot. So I starting taking that out. Turns out the PO was a hack. None of the lower front covers (that surround the pulleys) had gaskets on them, so I order those. Then I realized that one of the covers was cracked in half. Replaced that. Then found out that he cross threaded the adjustment screw into the alternator. Had to order a new alternator (all the treads were fucked) and get the new screw and block thing. Then found out that the thermistat had no gasket. Ordered that. Plus there was a bunch of other misc. small stuff. Shorted version, just spent over $600 on maintenance, and I'm moving into a new apartment on the 1st. So I wont be getting coilovers for quite a while. Sad couple weeks for me.

Anyway, I've been thinking about these lately.

They have gotten decent reviews (obviously not for track use), and with my current money issues and seeking a new job, this may be decent until I can buy Stance next summer. One of the guys on CR.net has been running them over a 1K miles with no issues. I barely put that on a year due to winter.

And my girlfriend was upset you didn't stay for dinner Pete. You're loved in my household. :hug:

 

don't do things twice. keep saving! 1,000 miles is nothing, I have put about 10k on my HKS

 

i did twice 1K miles on my drive out here... buy something nice, not trash

[not to mention i doubt they could take a tree falling on them... man my coilovers have been through a lot]

 

Oh, and my Stance are still being passed around. I forgot who has them right now, but I talked to him this summer haha. Those were bought in May '06 and have a bunch of use put in them.

My D2 from the AW11 were all rusty and seized after 8 months or so. Paint flaked off the springs, collars seized, wasn't too happy.

 

So.... I need a new brake master cylinder. And I need to get internet at my new apartment so I can get on here more. Still don't have cable either. Comcast comes out on the 25th.

I seriously cant afford Stance right now. The second I can, I'll be knocking down your door. lol. I need a new job so bad. On the bright side, my girlfriend got a new job and literally doubled her income so I might be able to actually save a little here and there. Had to go order NB upper mounts today. They are coming in on Tuesday.

Sad part is if it wasn't for the retarded interest on my credit card, I could afford Stance. I pay $150 in interest alone.

 

I need to posts another pic now that I'm another inch and a half lower.

 

Pics and updates coming within the month. Once my return comes, I'm getting wheels, tires, and overfenders.

Already bought a hub, and Works Bell steering wheel on its way. Totally different car for 2011.

 

Samadi...I hate you for gunking my thread up. Anyway, Thursday my 30mm rear overfenders get ordered. Then tires and then pics. I promise this time.
