MA70 Build

This car looks to have good body fitment and overall in terrific shape. I like the interior color as well. Looks like it was well taken care of, except the handbrake, but that is an easy fix.

thanks yeah the interior needs a little tlc im getting new ebrake handle and cover and new armrest there is a little spot of bubbling over the rear wheel wells but u can barely see it and the previous owners ex gf shoved the door open when the hinges were bent and bent the front fender a little but other wise its all good and yeah she runs pretty good more to come soon

i like the targa top and it definitely looks clean.

so i topped out my car today at 110 mph. i also raced a prelude they were two cars in front of me when we started and i still kicked there ass. i work on the car at work too so it was funny

 

110? thats it? my 93' V6 camry i got up to 127mph.

 

it was only at 5k rpm and it revs to 6200 rpms but i didnt want the thing to blow so yeah thats it

 

looks nice. and 110 isnt that bad.

 

at 5k in 5th, my car is at 100mph. 110mph would be 5500 and would theoretically top out at 135mph (im told it can get there, just takes awhile)

 

well my car is only a 3 spd auto with overdrive

 

so little update some goood stuff and some bad stuff

GOOD STUFF:
-got some new u joints
-priced out my new exhaust
-got a lexus afm

BAD STUFF:
-i say priced out exhaust because
I HAVE A HOLE IN MY GAS TANK!!! :furious:
- i need a rear sway bar end link
- i need a new timing belt and radiator hoses as these are about to collapse
- need new pads and rotors all the way around
- i only topped out at 110 because 3 out of 4 of my calipers are stuck!!!

so the exhaust will be coming in bout a month cant wait.

 

The supra is in really good condition on the outside. Looks nice, good luck on the repairs. Keep us posted

if you really think about it the repairs need it are not that bad at all just an average tune up that should be done when buying a used car.

man again great looking Supra look forward to see updates on mods.

UPS AND DOWNS!!

So gas tank is on its way and lexus afm is on its way too.

so coming back from my girls house i was tired and just wanted to get home so i took the highway. i got on and there was a riced out civic coming up rather quick so i floored it and kept it there. well i got in front of him real quick, as i was approaching my so called "top speed" i said screw it im keeping my foot into it. it hit 6300 rpm and SHIFTED i was shocked so it kept climbing and climbing and hit 145 mph at 6000 rpms so that is the top speed not the 110. lol stupid me never though of keeping y foot into it. so i slowed down after that and was going bout 75 mph the speed limit is 55. as i was coming over a hill i saw the ass end of a cop no lights on on the side of the road. i was like fuck. so i hit the brakes ti was too late. i slowed down a little but he pulled out and stopped me. well i got a ticket for doing 75 in a 55. on radar. w/e $150 not a big deal then he tells me since i have a j.o.l. (junior operators license) it would be suspended for 3 months.

so sorry for the long story but the ups are that i found the real top speed of the car and the downs are that i cant drive it no more. lol so im taking it off the road for the winter and will save my money from gas and insurance and will be buying some things soon. pics will be up soon of the upgrades....

 

doh....see messing with the civics will get you everytime lol
