the EJ1 was stolen last semester from my college
RIP 10/24

i surprisingly still have the door panels and seats and majority of my plastic panels

parts that im missing
plastic around windshield both sides
power motors from doors
they even took my fuse covers cause i had the jdm fuse cover for under the dash and also the fuse cover in eng bay cause i had that sticker on it
driverside side skirt
they even took that $1 jdm tilt plate..well $20 after shipping from japan
and of course all my JDM & aftermarket parts

they did put on a grey steering wheel with no airbag, oem suspension/lcas and oem steelies

and u cant see in these pics but they scratched the hell out of the car

i may eventually restore this one to OEM, but my main focus is on the AE86, and iv also been searching for a S30 for a few months now

Dude, that makes me so sad to look at your old EJ, it was one of my favortives. That shit makes ME feel violated and its not even my car so yea, FUCK THIEVES. Good luck on the new build though, im sure it will be sick.

 

im back for good guys, semester is almost over with and i have time to go on the computer and work on cars again... that and im Graduating from college next week (^_^) V YAY!!!

so heres what iv been up 2 slowly on the weekend that i was able to come home...i ended up restoring her

the rebuild...

missing clutch line...

carpet was shot, so i took it out


picked up a D15B friday from JDMenginesinc with a trans


picked up shift linkage, wiring harness, and motor mounts except i still need drivers side motor mount
and today i ended up painting the motor and trans and stuff

still want to make the H, Honda and Vtec in silver



dont think the clutch and flywheel that came with it is to good tho



got some other stuff
clutch line came, installed that and painted the engine bay again a nice black

got the clutch and trans back together
got these...
PIC Apex this time cause i figured for the price of coilovers and koni yellows...would be about the same so i got these but spring rates as before... 12k F/10k R






started to put them on but noticed the steering rack boots are shot and a balljoint on the drivers side is shot , time to replace them



got the motor in and heres a pic of how she sits while waiting on parts...



dont mind the mess inside and outside the car...still cleaning up

headlight/blinker/wiper controls behind steering wheel
radiator
ignition/key
hood

 

got new console and shift boot...i have the cup holder in my room but i cant find it

Cat finally came

repainted whole inside floor black and inside trunk


night before i took her out of tent for paint

now the painting
fender they dented

my damage thinking i wasnt going to keep it...and get a new fender but that one was worse then this one

grinded down rust

bondo and more sanding

pulled her out of tent FINALLY

hood and fender off and prepped for primer

did some wetsanding on the primer, no need to post more of the same looking pics..ill just show each main step
Now to the Paint

mark in middle of fender i couldnt get flush o well

also did fog light covers

heres the pics, i thought it came out pretty good...lil orange peel but once it cures for a few days, ill wet sand and buff it




drove the car out of the tent and cleaned her up and put her on the trailer so my dad can drop her off to get the tie rods done and just get checked over...should be on the road next weekend for test drive locally only

had to take bumper off to get on trailer, exhaust cleared getting up by an inch





i also moved the 86 back into the tent...maybe now once i get the civic running good, i can finish the 86 up finally...check out that Build up also

 

i just have to finish wiring up the O2 sensor and i should be able to get it back on the road next weekend and test drive it ^_^ cant wait!!

So glad to see your coupe back on the road. Its not quite what it was before but its getting there so thats awesome!
