Haha! I know! Im going to get a 6" metal buffing wheel and some rouge and polish it back to as close to new as I can. Once it's on it'll probably never come off. I hate having parts laying around and no time to put them on. My brakes really bother me cause they are sitting next to my TV where I can see them every day.

 

thats a good location for them. they constantly remind you that you're should put them on

Got my rouge and cloth wheel to polish it. I just got the white finishing rouge, it's all it really needs. Did a small spot tonight...holy shit it's gonna look fuckin new!! :woot:

what product did you use exactly? i want to do that to my header

 

I'll look when I get home. It's just a Japanese brand white rouge and a 6" cloth wheel. The rouge seemed kind of dry to me. I used some when I was younger to polish a chrome bike frame. From what I remember it seemed a little softer. A little bit greasy feeling.

Well tonight I made time to put my exhaust on. When I got done I started it to check for leaks. It sounds perfect. If you want a perfect sound get this one for real. Forget about the Apexi WS and others like that. No pics cause I did it at night. I'll get a few quick snaps in the morning before I go to work.

Yea! And im watching another auction for a really dirty one. It's for a DC2. Hopefully I can get it way cheaper than this one.

Dirty spot on the tip is a little bit of condensation that came out when I drove it. Still can't believe how nice it sounds!
