The first generation Aristo is from '91 - '97. There is three different engines available. 1. 2JZ-GE I6 (3.0Q) 2. 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo I6 (R6 3.0) 3. 1UZ-FE V8 (4.0Zi-Four) Started in '92. Only in '96+ they started offerring 5 speed automatic trans. So technically, the 4.0Zi from '92+ is the only Aristo that will meet the VIP requirement. (See, I've been doin homework too!! lol) Src: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Aristo Edit: Same thing with the second and third generations. It'll have to be at least a 4.3L to fit the V8 requirement. All 3 liter motors are V6s.
Only the HArdCore!!! Its Very Debatable on What is Acceptable as VIP > Style Also. Some of the True VIP Traditionalist Only Accept the Hand Full of VIP Cars. VIP Style Cars is also changing to Newer Platforms that is Acceptable From VIP Product Manufacturers. They are trying to Bring VIP to America. So More Cars are being Accepted as a Style of VIP, Example Many are Favoring the Chrysler 300 as VIP Style Platform. I Don't Agree with that Platform being VIP but that's a Huge Debate. Its Really Up to you to Consider what Makes you Feel Luxurious.
HELLA HARDCORE Video Response Cruzing Around with NoBAgs Only Using Coils, Look how hard it is to get out of Driveway. After watching that Video I Decided on Air Suspension There are Many Different Suspension Setups to Choose From air canovers air bags/ coil-overs coil-overs cut springs No Springs Etc ... With Air Suspension Most Stick with One Air Company, Others Mix Match Different Parts to Make a Complete Air System. I'm Going to Try to Stick with One Company at this Moment I'm Unsure whats the Best Company to Ride With but I'm Sure of the Type of Set Up I'm Saving For. (Air Sleeves) Coils Getting a Perfect Fitment is Not Only Hella Hardcore to Ride Around Set In Stance but Takes A lot of Trial and Error to have a Perfect Set-Up on Coils you Risk Ride Comfort but there are Coil Setups that have Dampening Adjustments that have a Decent to Smooth Ride. It Really Depends on the Coils Adjustments. As Far as Air Suspension there are Two Main Different Types of Setups. Click the Picks Below Air Sleeves Suspension and Bellows Air Suspension Air Sleeves "I THINK" is the Best for VIP cause there are Smaller Chambers that Raise and Lower Smoother, You Don't Hit a Switch and Fly in the Air with These (I May be Wrong) The Ride Quality is Better and the Longevity of this Type of Air Suspension Last Longer. Bellows is a Traditional Air Suspension that is Common with Trucks. The Cost of Bellows is Much Cheaper almost Half Price as Sleeves, and Bellows can be Matched with Coils etc. Making them Perfect for Someone on a Budget. Thank you, Your Lexus is Sexy to... :spitdrink: Most Search for the v8 when the Buy a GS They Did Come in Different Engines but the v8 is Favored. Similar to the way I Searched for Black Interior. I Could have Bought Cream Interior and went with White Paint. But I had a Vision and Only certain Things would make me Happy... :rocks: Also the LS is a BIG CAR but the v8 Makes Up in Power. Having a BIG Luxury is an Important Aspect. I like the v8 cause of Surprise in Horsepower If I was Stupid I would Drift It. There is Enough HP to Get Sideways. but with Gas Prices I just Drive Slow.
Those are Vents... Those were Fender Air Vents... Here is a Demo Video from a Company called Air Runner (Sleeves) :googly: Here is a Video from a Company called Universal Air Suspension (Bellows)
Damn those VIP cars look so clean. Id like to have one in the future I dunno a damn thing about air suspension other than I wish I had it sometimes so I didnt have to do what those cars in the first vid do just to get over a gutter!
i think the air cup is going to be my choice. it basicly is a air cylinder about 3in. and it sits on top of the coilover spring. it fills with air raising the car about 3in. and lets get out of the drive way over speed bumps and such and then go back to being slamed. i would like to get some for my IS300. heres a link http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2823 and thanks about my car. you were talking about my car right.
a couple of years i think. i remember it some time after the big honda air cylinder/air ride thing. its not new, but it hasnt realy gained popularity yet either. i can see way price and if you gonna spend more than you would on either coilovers or basic air ride why not just get one or the other. i will send the money on these. i like to ride slammed but want coilovers so this is perfect for me. ive seen them with just the air cups to go on what ever coilover you have or want, but those are a bit of money too.
