hello deibido-san, i thought all the cars in japan need to be change to a new 1 after specify years rite? but why all the legendary cars stil running on the road until now?
Well it's all about the inspection they make you get every 2 years or so. It's really expensive. To make it easy to understand, lets say you have a 92 Civic hatch with 150,000 kms. Anything over 100,000 over here is considered high. Making the car worth alot less. No matter how good the condition is. So the inspection is expensive. I'm not sure the exact $ amounts, but for my 98 $1500. So if the inspection cost is more than what the car is worth they just let it get recycled. But sometimes people (like me) don't care about the difference in worth to inspection cost. I'll keep getting my car inspected as long as I can. No matter how many kms it has. Hope thats not too confusing! I have a few pics but I just have'nt had time to upload the pics! Sorry guys!!
okay.. so you mean they gotta pay every year in order to keep their ride.. but sometimes it is worth paying for these legend.. waiting for your pics and update yea..
