Mine still works pretty well for a 14 year old car, but you do have to grease the gears & look after it to keep it working. The biggest problem with them has always been the number of switches that have to be made for it to work if 1 goes down it wont work, neither will the trunk open as it works on the same electric motor, can be a real pain !
