Super DD/Track build!

Hey guys, I forgot I registered on this site a LONG time ago...
figured I'd show you all whats been up in the past year or so. Trying to get the car ready for autox events this summer. So I'll be posting a lot of updates here! Stay tuned!

I own a '00 civic HX. Its been my daily driver for 4 years now, and finally going to do something with it. I'll be getting it ready for track, but it will also be on the road. The body lines suck ass, I know. It's been in so many hit and runs, touge runs, etc etc haha. They will be fixed along with other stuff.

looks pretty good so far. im not much of a fan of the roof spoiler though. looks awkward to me. whyd you choose KSport coilovers if this is going to be tracked? imo, PIC, Koni/GC, or even Tein Basics are much better for some track duty.

 

Any change in bushings as well?

looks good...would look great once that small amount of body damage is fixed..

 

Ksports are temporary for now. I use to run Skunk2 sleeve coilovers with KYB GR2's (horrible) and I ended up blowing 2 struts, so it was just ridiculous to DD them. I didnt have the money to fork out for some Teins (which I probably will soon enough) but these will do for now.

4 of my friends rock these including me, and to tell the truth, they're not bad at all. But we'll see. If I blow some seals the first time I hit the track, well, I guess thats what I payed for.

Bushings, yes. I have ES rear trailing arm bushings, shifter stabilizer bushings, front control arm bushings, and front and rear sway bar bushings. But thats about it for now, I will upgrade most of them as I finish the car.

not trying to say anything about your style but i think it looks 20x better with the oem bumper and without the spoiler. rear window visor is sick though! you do good work

Yeah don't worry, I'm liking the OE front a lot better too actually! Plus I dig fog lights haha. But thanks for the input guys! I went and took a few more pics, sorry the car is very dirty but it is my DD afterall








The bumper needs a few more coats of silver, its looking a little darkish/gray rather than VSM..and it does sag in places, but that will be fixed here soon. Promise! haha

i think it looked better with the white rpf1's. it gave the car more contrast

 

I just wasnt feeling the 15's anymore. I did like the silver on white no doubt, but I wanted 16's, and I got these for a steal. So had to try them out
