so i have been seriously been considering getting a small powder coating setup for personal and small business purposes like doing stuff for people around my small town.

so my question is pricing, i want to make money but still keep the prices very low if i do end up doing things for people so i wanted to ask and get an idea of pricing from normal shops and such so i can pigure my shit out

here are a few base parts that i want to get approx. prices on:

    valve cover-

    wheel-

    intake manifold-

    bicycle frame-

thanks any and all input is appreciated

Prices I would expect to pay:

    valve cover - $65
    wheel (15x7, more for larger) - $90
    intake manifold - $65
    bike frame - $130

all assuming 1 color, and the part is taken to you with nothing that needs removal (sensors, valve stems, etc). charge extra if the parts need a lot of extra cleaning (dirt/oil/rust)

Yeah, just be sure to get your name out there. Attend car shows and advertise. You need to spend some money to earn money. Try to have a lot of samples for people to see what the colors actually look like on parts, not just a book of swatches. After seeing some powdercoats from a guy who does stuff for our shop, it really made me want to get a lot of stuff done!
