I will be getting a New or should I say like New car coming possibly today. Dealership may delivering the car tonight. I say like new as it only has 5K miles on it. Anyone wish to take a guess? Anyhow my E46 M3 is officially on the market. Asking price is $22.9K firm. I will post a for sale thread shortly.
Not S2000. Great car though. Well my car has officially arrived and is in my garage. It is a very pretty white and 6 cylinders are always nice. For some reason I don't think anyone will guess, it is not a high production model. It is 3 years old 2007 and has only 5061 miles, it looks like new, really, it could pass as a brand spanking new car, simply flawless. It looks as if the prior owner kept it in a retail blister packaging like a hot wheel and never drove the thing. Car was meant to be driven.
Z4/M roadster or coupe? You said not american (left euro as a possibility), not practical, 6 cylinder, low miles... sounds like a Z4.
LOL. Can't believe you guessed it. It is a 2007 BMW M Coupe. Alpine White / Light Sepang Bronze. Guess you are a car guy. Here are a few pics from last night, they delivered the car to me. I wish you could see how immaculate it is. It is like buying a NEW Car. I will look into getting the OEM BBS ZCP 19" wheels again with a coilover suspension. Got to get rid of the chromies.
I win! I always really liked those cars. Hardtops especially! I'm interested to see how maintenance is on those cars, cost and ease of it. It's on my list of cars that I might like to own at some point. (maybe next?) Congrats on the purchase
Thanks. The maintenance is pretty much the same as the M3. Oil changes can be done for about $88 if you do it yourself. Cheapest oil can be bought from is from Tishcher BMW which is 6 ltrs Castrol TWS 10w-60w, oil filter washers shipped. Dealerships charge a arm and a leg. Inspections are expensive, even if you buy all the parts yourself gaskets, filters, fluid, still around $500 or so. http://www.trademotion.com/partloca...fo&PartID=753695&siteid=214672&catalogid=4462 Inspection I and II can be quite costly even at Indy shops. I have a year free maintenace left on it so hopefully I can get maybe 2 oil changes and Inspection I. However most M owners are really car enthusiasts and love working on ther car themselves. Anyhow I like it alot and was debating on getting a First Gen Cayman S, but there still aren't many in the same price range and are usually out of warranty, except CPO which tend to priced much much higher. I will take more pics, not using the iPhone and post more shortly.
Congrats on the New Purchase Congrats on the New Purchase:woot: Your Garage Looks Very Impressive hsnap: I Always Loved your M3, Do you have to Sell ? In a Race (1320) would the M3 Win ? oke:
Thanks Clutch, I will sell the M3, had it for 2 years and feel like a new car. They are pretty both comparable in the 1/4 mile an 0-60, but I think both cars were designed for doing more than going straight. These cars both love the twisties.
