    So heres my teg i picked up for $750 runs good after a complete tune up and new o2 sensor. I also did a custom CAI out of old stock intake parts untill i get mine in the mail. Works really good for what it is.

    BTW My timing belt seems loose how do i tighten it? Is there a detailed DIY thread somewhere?

    Nice custom Intake bro. To tighten that belt all you should have to do tighten up the tensioner. I believe your going to have to take off the valve cover and the cam cover to expose it. If you just paid for a tune up they should've tightened it tho. U might have to go back and let em know. Good car tho, welcome to the Fam!

    i did the tune up myself. And the tensioner is as tight as i can get it. Someone told me its like that cause its not a oem belt but idk

    well if you just replaced the belt then try taking the tensioner off and cleaning it out and then returning it also you may need a new tensioner spring. maybe though. a new belt is cheap insurance also

    well if the tensioner is fully tightened then it is time for a new belt buy some cam gears and a new high tension belt from hks and you will be good for a looonnnggg time

    I am pretty sure there isn't an applications for B Series motors for HKS timing belts. Just use OEM, I would have avoided aftermarket timing belts as well due to obvious reasons.

    i think Toda makes a timing belt for VTEC b series engines...
