    1. For those that know me closely, know that I would never start a build thread because I could care less about the steps & process, but I figured "What the hey? Why not?" so here it is....

    2. The new Milano Red coupe has been a thorn in my side since the 5th day I had it. I am convinced that I am now a victim of the "MR Curse" with this being like my last MR Civic EH2 that had a D16A6 and gave me problems like this D16A6 MR EJ2 that I currently own...

    3. The Plan: Take out the D16A6 and put in a "mildly modded" D15B7 and prepare it for the addiction that is b00st. It's been 7 years since i have owned a terbow'd car and, quite frankly, I MISS IT!

    On with the pics...

    When I bought the car:

Currently (with my 14th set of wheels in 3 years):

Now, I'm slated to pick up the D15B7 to do the work thruout the week. More pictures will follow and I apologize ahead of time for the poor resolution but my digital camera took a dump and I'm forced to use my Sidekick.

    Here are the plans (exactly):

    1. Take out the D16A6, and put in the D15B7 with either the D16A6 or the D16Y7 Head.

    2. Piece togother or buy a homemade turbo kit (or maybe something a little more sneaky)

    3. Once the car is running right, I will take out all the dents, primer & sand down the Cursed Milano Red and respray another 93-95 OE Honda color. Either Aztec Green, Tahitian Green, or maybe even Horizon Grey Metallic.

I picked up the D15B7... The saga continues.

    09-11-2008

The B7 that I picked up the other nite & the OBX Adj. Cam Gear that I picked up at noon today...

$120 spent so far on the new engine build.... I'll be pulling the B7 head off soon and putting on the A6 head and accessories.... (Distr., Intake man., Alt., etc...)

    09-28-2008

Change some shit around on the still stock D16A6... She runs and runs strong! didnt need the spare motor or the Adj. cam gear but they may come in handy later...

    09-29-2008

FUCKIN CAM SEAL WENT OUT ON ME!!!!!

Well as of today this build is over and I don't plan on any others. I know I've said it before but this time I mean it. I'm done with Hondas. I mean that shit this time. This car is NOT worth the shit its put me thru. The A6 is thrashed not even a full day after it ran perfect and the spare B7 is up in Chesterfield at my boys house and I don't have a way to get it nor will I go thru what I did this weekend to get myself up there. Its now worth it. New plan is to get it running and get it sold. I don't want anymore cars. If I buy a car it'll be new and under a warranty. I'm done working on cars. I'll leave that shit to you other members but I refuse to do shit. And at this moment FUCK ALL 4 WHEELED VEHICLES.

Here's the plan for the W.O.R.M. Right now.

*get the B7 in it & running
*stack some cheese so I can get an H22
*get the H22 in & running
*sell the car 6-8 months later (in the spring)

Okay, okay, okay. I won't sell it. But I seriously hope that there are no problems once the H is in. Just changing a head gasket on a DOHC is a kick in the nuts...

The B7/A6 will be temporary... even if I do boost it. I'm shooting for the H22. I'm indecisive as fuck but I think my mind is made up. DOHC is next. 8 SOHC engines is enough and I'm gonna stop befor I hit 10.

I'm gonna roll with the H22 and from there... K20A. My dream is to own a K-Coupe and I've been playing with the SOHC for long enough.

So I was talking to my boy Levi's silly ass today in AIM while I was watching Initial D and then later, my boy Josh called me and we were talking about cars and shit and by that time I had finished watching Initial D and I was watching Best Motoring (today was a "JDM day" for me) and all day I was thinking... *I'm my gankstah h00d voice* "get back to your roots, nuckra!"

So maybe when I'm done toying around with this coupe, and depending on how I feel, I might sell it and get an older import for me to toy around with and tinker on...

    Here are my thoughts...

    *AE86 Corolla

    *FC RX-7

    *1600CVC Civic

    *Z31 300Zx

    *JZA70 Supra

So I got the car pulled to my new APT and I pulled the A6 head of the busted ass A6 block and I pulled the busted ass B7 head of the good B7 block and guess what I found?

Some clean ass pistons (for the most part) but there was some build up on pistons 1 & 4. The dude that I bought the B7 from said that it had low compression in cylinder 3 because of a bad valve but cylinders 2 & 3 had some badly broken valves. I cleaned the pistons off and put on the new head gasket & oil filter and A6 head so its ready to go in. I just gotta pull the A6 block out.

The camera shots I took have too much glare but you can see the most of what I'm talking about with the carbon build up. The B7 head has a very clean and shiny rocker assembly but the 2 broken valves in the bottom of the head are fuckin' nasty lookin'.
