the other day i came home to find a skyline 300 gt sitting in my driveway. it was about a 2000 something 4 dr. my first thought was that my father in law bought a new car. next thought was, no if he was going to get a new car it would be made by toyota, and wearing an L on the grill. so i got to finding out what was up. my father in law had backed his majesta into some randon kei car. and his car was being fixed. the skyline was his dd from the body shop! and he dosent use his majesta so much cause of the size of it.. so the skyline sat almost the whole time he had it. until sat. this was the day that his car was to be done and ready to be picked up. so knowing that i had been wanting to drive the skyline all week, sat morning he gave me the key to the skyline and said drive it as much as you want, and go pick up the majesta at 4 pm!! so i got to drive the car around all day sat!! my first time behind the wheel of a skyline. since it was not a sporty one i just pimped it all day. drove around enjoying how comfy the seats were and how well the factory bose sounded. and how much torque a v6 has over my TT4. in all it was a nice car. kinda rattley. but coming from a body shop im sure it was a re-built one. i wouldnt buy one, but it was cool to drive. also a pic of my breakfast today. over 2 years since my last McGriddle!! funny how they worded "sausage & egg cheese". whats egg cheese?
yea, i dont know why they dont make it all in japanese. that only makes sense to me. almost every car that ive been in over here has english text on the ac and radio controls.
i was hoping it was an r34 4 door. do they make those, i know they make 4 door skylines, but not sure if it came in the r34. but nice story anyway, nice pics too. i drove an r32 here in abilene 3 or 4 years ago. one guy from the base had a purple r32 and i befriended him. he let me drive it, but not get on it.
