i need s2000 help!!!!

    hi everybody, i need some help one of my friends just got himself a 2006 honda s2000 and it is sweet, well he also got a mugen style carbon fiber hardtop, but he didnt get the hardware to install it, now he asked to help him find it, so i did some research and found some but there only for the oem hardtop and i was wondering if he could use that one or has to be specific for that hardtop, so if anybody knows anything please respond ASAP, he wants to put in a carshow coming this august 10th. here is the beauty!!

    the contact points are not the same of that of the factory option hardtop? id go to the dealership and ask....because if they do match id rather have the labor warrantied...

    no problem ask away

    i believe he payed about 800.00 to about 900.00 thats because he got it without the hardware from seibon.

    if the dealer ones dont fit id call seibon and get theirs then bring it to the dealership to install or a goody body shop

    Contact Seibon or King Motorsports (North American Mugen Part Dealer).

    Contact Seibon, forget about contacting King, the hardware for the real Mugen hardtop may not fit the replica, plus you may even have a hard time obtaining the hardware kit seperately as well as the cost will be astronomical. So you will avoid an further headaches and spent money on hardware that isn't specifically designed for the unit your friend got.
    Isn't the hardware suppose to come with the Seibon top? Perhaps they forgot to include it? If thats the case I am sure they won't have a problem helping you out.

    I thought hardtops were easy in, easy out. I've learned my lesson about buying replicas too. hope everything works out!
