Sooo next week I will be getting a Honda Civic Si sedan in Nighthawk Black!!! Its gonna be my daily driver and I am so excited to get it. I will get pictures of it up ASAP, but I just want to stress this: I'm not going to be modifying it much. Here is whats planned: 18" wheels. I'm split between Enkei NTO3+M in Hyper Black and Buddy Club P1 SFs in Gun Metal. Both are 18x7.5 +42 offset Enkei NT03+M 18 lbs p/ wheel! $1000 for a set of four (tirerack.com) Buddy Club P1 SF $774 for a set of four (robearracing.com) Some type of 225/40 tire, probably Falken ZE912s or ZE512s, nothing crazy. Random Mugen shit: -Window visors -Oil Cap -Resevoir socks -Shift knob -CF Spark Plug Cover DC5R Red Valve Cover :googly: Vision Technica CF Intake Mani Cover Carbing Strut Bar, etc HFP Lowering springs blah blah, i'll update soon , i gotta go to work oke:
turns out i might have to wait another week for black but i might get white and get the car on monday or tuesday instead . i also want to see if i can get the diffuser and rear wing from the Mugen Si through the dealer
Great choice, be sure to get all the Mugen accessories from me (oil cap, shift knob, pedals, reservoir covers etc.) I usually have all the accessories in stock. oke:
Anything u have in stock, i will order when i get the money . PS: Get the Mugen ventilated window visors
I wouldn't mind it in either color. (psst.... get the black. We are the Black Stars after all.) As for the wheels, I like the Enkeis. I might get the same set for my Impreza, but I have to save up. Anyway, your rollin' by my house first when you get it, right?
go with black, i have a white one. i just got the hfp springs and it only lowers it about 3/4 of an inch, but its better than the stock ride height. congrats though, it is a really fun car. after you get it broke in, you'll see why the k-series is the future of honda. the engine sounds so crisp, its really loud for being a stock car, and vtec is really, really loud and sounds great. nice choice.:rocks:
i also put a set of 5zigen fn01rc on for a week before my friend sold the wheels, but with a thick sidewall, 16's look really good on the si sedan.
turns out that i would have to wait even longer for black, so i'm gonna get white and get the car on tuesday , and sorry dude i really dont mean to rip off your style haha
Its cool, taffeta white is the best color for th si sedan. i love the car, its comfortable, fast, great looking. and its faster than it feels. but post pick when you get it. did you get the navigation, lip kit, etc... or did you just get the plain jane. i got the plain jane, except for the musiclink. with a little haggling, you can get that thrown in for free. just tell them you really wanted the black one but couldn't wait that long to get a new car. i'm sure you've haggled before. throw up some pics whenever you get some.
i'm so excited, i'm not going to be able to sleep tonight! i just ordered an Air Spencer CSX-3 and a Mugen Radiator cap from Daniel too haha. So while thinking over the fact that Long Island roads are pretty much the worst driving roads ever, I think whatever rims I get are going to be 17x7.5 instead of 18x7.5. Not to mention 17s will be a bit cheaper . I've actually grown pretty fond of the Enkei J10s in Matte Black. I've been looking through Discount Tire Direct, and they have free shipping on all wheels and tires. So if I were to get a set of 17" J10s wrapped in Falken ZE512s, it comes out to $935 shipped! Wow, now all I gotta do is sell my Bach Stradivarius Trombone and I'm set! (I can sell that thing for around $2500 :-D)
Yeah i played trombone for about 10 years, and i got the "strad" about 4 years ago. I loved playing music but its not my passion, cars are. Stradivariuses are the professional series from Bach, which is owned by Selmer.
