GM to Kill Off Pontiac by 2010

    Saw it coming, but I would think Buick was doing worse...

    Buick does amazing in China. But Pontiac was one of their better brands. They should have killed Hummer. I was so longing foward to the Solstice Coupe too.

    they did kill Hummer, as well as Saturn.

    Saturn were basically Opels and Pontiacs were basically Holdens. GM was just rebadging cars and selling them as 'new' cars. IIRC, Buick has been doing very well these past years comparatively. and Caddy is doing great things as well.

    I would have cut Saturn before Pontiac(Pontiac Parts are unique and good). I just hope they make the G8 the new Impala, and that they carry over the Vibe and Solstice Coupe and brand them as Chevy's.
