well guys here's my project that i have been working on for 15 months now the car its almost complete at this point, just minor stuff are left to do on the car. my goal is to build the perfect car for me which is a SHOW/STREET/RACE/TRACK CAR. this car its deff NOT a trailer queen just to clear that out:laugh: im planing on building the motor within the next 2 month my goal is nothing crazy looking to get around 260-265 im trying to keep it pump gas:thumbup: well without further delay here everything i documented from the moment i began my swap. i hope you enjoy the pics because theres a whole lot of them lol. P.S I HOPE THIS HELPS PEOPLE THAT WILL TAKE ON THIS CHALLENGE IN THE FUTURE. the shell 96 ek cx so i realize and decided that i hated the 96 light gray interior and i went ahead and did a whole 2000 dash heater core and blower, interior conversion every single panel i replaced it with the 99-00 dark gray from the center console to the speakers cover well... im still missing the door panels thats the only thing that was damaged on the 2000 ek i got all the panels from. old light grey new one:thumbup: see the difference? BUT THE WAIT WAS DAMN WORTH IT:thumbup: :thumbup: THIS IS THE DAY ME AND MY MY HOMO HOMEBOY (PHATLIPCIV) DROPPED THE MOTOR IN:thumbup: BRAKE LINE RELOCATION CAI INSTALLED HERE WE WERE WORKING ON THE HARNESS NO OFFENSE B GUYS RELOCATED THE CLUTCH RESERVOIR HERE I FINISHED TUCKING THE ALL THE BRAKE/CLUTCH LINES:thumbup: THE CLUTCH LINE:thumbup: BATTERY INSTALLED finally got done wire looping my whole harness INSTALLING SOME STUFF OVER THE WEEKEND FINAL TOUCHES TO THE WIRE TUCK and if anybody cares to know the new DTR/SSR headers design completely clears the karcepts shifter box
SO i was having this dilemma, about where i was going to route my engine harness into the car. as most of you guys already know im all about engine bay cleaness. well i finally came to the following conclusion enjoy guys! lol... so if you want a nearly out of sight engine harness here's what you have to do.... all i can say man is AMAZING JOB. thats how i would do my car exactly and you didnt take any short cuts or anything. amazing job. i was speechless throughout all the wonderful pictures. definetly keep us updated and keep up the great work. there are not many people that will take the time to do things the right way anymore so dont let any one tell you that anything on that car is bad cause it is all amazing shit man. major + rep
thanks i appreciate your comment man i def put alot time,blood,sweat into the build but there are somethings i wanna re-do on the car like the engine harness and shape the engine bay in the future. ill keep you posted guys.
