Dutch JDM-scene

Hey everybody,

I promissed some photo's of the dutch JDM scene.

We had 2 big meetings. 25th of July we had a Mega European Honda Meet, with teams from Holland, Germany, Belgium, France en the UK.
And on the 7th of march there was a meet @ Rising Sun Performance.

Next sunday (5th of sept) we are @ one of the biggest meet's of Holland. The Japanese Autosport Festival @ TT-circuit Assen.

For our standards these show's are allways fun..

I don't know if they live up to standard's in de US or Japan

When it comes to engine swaps in Holland it's mostly B16 or B18 swaps.. There are just a hand full who swap H-, or K-series..

I believe that you guys swap K-series more often, or a I wrong?

Very nice! I think I recognize some of those cars. Alot of the itr-dc2 forum guys talking about these shows. Glad to see the scene getting away from the body kits over there!

Oke, oke.. there were people from holland, germany en GB @ the 5th sept show, so it could be possible that you've seen some of them..

yeah, (as you can see on my car) I don't dig the body kits..

there are exceptions I do like BuddyClub2 kits on Honda's (not all of them)

 

Under a rainy sky they held our finish season meeting, gathering several cars from all over Portugal.
Over 60 cars answered the call & roamed in.

thats awesome!!! i love looking at pics of amazing jdm goodness!! i love going to shows too.. we have some big meets here in my area.. not many as a lot of kids are all riced out and me and my group of friends dont really invite them to our shows.. we do have a few nice cars though maybe i can get some pics..

and yes we swap a good amount of b16 or b18 motors but k swap is a lot more common.. and some h swaps

 

i listen to ya all on that and also why cant people leave other peoples cars alone and quit steeling them i had a civic stolen about 9 months ago and my ITR atempted to be stolen one time in the same week so yea anyways thats it.

 

hey guys,

after a few months my car is finally ready again (I blew a few pistons..)

at the mooment I'm running a D15B7 with a performance air intake, and heat-wrapped performance exhaust headers..

within now and 2 weeks, i'm hoping to put in new clutch plates.. and mounting the adjustable shock's and light weight trail-arms on the rear..

I'll keep you guys posted..
