I've started to remove the head to replace the gasket underneath. I've removed the distributor before I've found tdc, didnt know i had to find tdc beforehand, but i just read in the Haynes manual i have to, is this going to cause a problem ??:(

Nope. When you put everything back, just line up the timing marks. The cam gears have dots on them that usually point up (or if DOHC, some engines point toward each other [b-series point up though]) and the crank pulley also has a TDC mark. then just put the distributor in at the TDC mark. I believe the distributor will only go in one way, from what i remember.
