Cost of Del Sol Parts

Hi Guys & Gals I live in the UK.
I have a 1993 JDM Del Sol SiR , Samba Green with a transtop.
Its got the JDM DOHC Vtec engine good for nearly 180bhp in standard trim.

I have to say you guys are lucky in the USA with the cost of after market parts.
There is very little available in the UK & when it is its expensive, most Sol owners end up buying from the US & paying vast shipping costs just to get the best bits.

Eg From Response Import - Map lights $75 in the UK they are £75 which is almost double.
Tail pipes, seats etc are all way cheaper & some places just wont ship.

So can anyone recommend good places for parts that will ship to the UK.
Will be greatly appreciated

 

If you want, maybe we can track down some parts for each other and combine shipping efforts to minizie costs. Let me know if your interested becuase I've had alot of parts shipped over from the UK and you're right on the shipping costs...horrible. If you need me to track something down...justlet me know.

hey i just got the stanley sidemarkers from ebayuk.com for like 10 buck when here they go for 30.

 

The thing you find is tastes vary UK to USA, in the UK most people take the JDM side markers & headlights off & fit clear, most of the people in the owners club in the UK then sell them to the US on Ebay.
Exhaust headers, exhausts aftermarket performance parts like Mugen are the same price in $ as £ which with the exchange rate is almost half the cost.
