:huddle: Alright so im in the process of replacing my head gasket, i was woundering if im that far into the engine is it far enough to replace the connecting rods + pistons, so that the engine can withstand more power, or is it out of the question, thanks.

ps any diy write ups would be greatly appreciated or any links :)

Im not a honda guy but from my experiences with cars in general, if you want to replace the pistons and rods, you'll have to pull the motor. The head gasket you can do with the motor in the car.

head gasket = remove head, install head
pistons = remove head, disassemble block, reassemble block, install head

depends how much work you want to do. you're half way there. if you plan on putting other pistons in soon-ish, you may as well. no use in taking it apart twice.
