Acura CSX Type-S

i've recently gained a new interest in the Canadian market Acura EL, which is my 97 Civic Sedan's Acura badged cousin. one of the guys over on www.QuebecEL.com turned me onto the Acura CSX Type-S, which is Acura's 2007 replacement for the older Acura EL as well as the RSX, which has recently been taken out of production. after doing a google search on the vehicle in question, i was dumbfounded. i didn't even know that this vehicle existed on North American shores. it is essentially an iteration of Honda Japan's newly released Civic Type-R. it comes equipped with a 2.0 liter i-Vtec engine (the venerable K20), with a close ratio 6-speed gear box. it is scheduled to go on sale in November of this year. below are a few informational links on the CSX Type-S. this could be the answer to anyone interested in swapping their front/rear ends out to make their new 06-07 civic sedans look like their Japanese equivalent. if i had more time, i would drive up to Canada and do some research on the CSX, Canada is only a few hours drive from where I live.

looks sweet, and people like familycar-gsr who have FA sedans should take note that it may be cheaper to get tail lights and other shiz thats not on the USDM sedans but is on the Canadian and JDM sedans

 

i will go with the canadien taillights and front end, but i'll have to find the jdm headlights because i like the clear headlights better.
