so a week from now im getting a 92 or 1993 Honda Accord for a tuner car and i was wondering do they have great potential ..lets say like the Integra or Civic?? and one downside its brown (or wait it might be grey I hope) and its has red interior...so does anyone see potential for the baby with out the pic for now .. thanks for your :help:
CB accords can be really cool, the only problem is power. If you are getting a DX or LX then you're getting the 130hp SOHC F22, if you are getting an EX then you're getting the 140hp SOHC F22. Even though they're alot heavier than a Civic or Integra, the power potential is greater with a H22 swap, OneOffAccord has a CB with a H23 with a turbo. This is my favorite, it was on the cover of Honda Tuning a while back: And until now i thought this thing was a stick, guess not...oke:
yeah my dads friend needed some cash for a downpayment on some vehical..so my dad bought his Accord for 2,000 which i think is stupied but owell at least ill have my first car to work with...but yeah the Accord i own that magazing and its an amazing car..but more and likely i wont have the cash to do a swap... but thanks for your info..ill post pics of it when it gets here in Texas
yes they have potential! check out cb7tuner.com there are plenty of real nice varieties to check out. i think its a very underestimated honda personally.. check it out and see what you like...
is it an EX or LX/DX? 140hp shouldnt be terrible, they have alot of stuff to make the F22B faster too
i owned a 92 accord ex coupe 5spd for a while....they are very nice cars and have alot of potential.....h22 or h23 swap would help out alot.....the kid that bought mine put a big aluminum wing thats higher than the rood....yellow dragon graphics down side and on hood....yellow dragon seat covers....neons stapled to the side skirts....and he did something to my exhaust so now its has the worst buzzing sound ever..... just do nice and clean mods and it will not let you down... ew if auto lol....then def will need to swap it out
Accords can be nice. I like that older body style actually. If im not wrong I spot an auto in that sick green one?! ^^^
here's what you do F22B1 engine [complete] H22A1 engine [complete] B-series transmission Hasport H-series, B-series trans adapter kit Balls of steel the process you may have the F22B1 engine in your accord already [that or the f20 DOHC or some other accord F22/F23 engine] take the H22A1 block apart and remove the crank, connecting rods and the pistons from the connecting rods install the F22 crank in the H22 block install the H22 pistons on the F22 connecting rods install HF22 pistons and connecting rods reassemble engine [with lower timing gear from H22 on F22 crank] install B-series trans on H22 with Hasport kit install in car hold on for dear life while raping K swapped hondas total cost [depending on if you have to buy both eninges] ~$3000 by my math if an average K swap costs ~$10,000 you've got ~$7000 left over to mod the shit out of your car
