Thanks haha
In new news, the 2zz intake manifold that myself and BMCRace.com are making, has begun the preliminary design process.
Rough renderings only. Nothing is to scale, or properly measured for any clearances. It is merely a design test. The manifold itself will be shortened to clear the alternator. Sam will be making a flange and a prototype will be mocked up for some testing.
We discussed some things today about it. The manifold will be designed for high RPM power (8000-9000 peak) and initially made for the Q45 90mm throttle body (easy to source from junk yards and various 240sx forums). If they find it possible, the manifold will be dual drilled for the stock throttle body to make easy switching for emissions purposes. That is of course, if the bolt pattern of the 2zz TB is outside of the 90mm opening needed for the Q45 TB. Stay tuned.
