Default EK9 FCT-demo car (from the Netherlands) - 04-23-2010 , 08:10 AM

Hello everybody,

I wanted to share this EK with you.
Full Car Tuning (FCT) has build an EK Demo car. This car will represend the company. It's one of the most populair Demo cars in Holland.

FCT is a dealer of all sorts of top-shelf tuning parts in the Netherlands. A few of their house brands are:
- AEM
- Apexi
- Buddyclub
- D1 Spec
- D2
- DC SPORTS
- Drag
- Eibach
- Greddy
- Koni
- Invidia
- MOMO
- MSD
- Nos
- Password:JDM
- ROTA
- Seibon
- Skunk2
- Sparco
- Summit
- Tein
- VIS racing sports

The base of this demo car is an ’96 Honda Civic EK 1.5 Vtec-e. Different lightweight carbon fiber parts will be used during the build (hood, mirrors, spoiler, trunk-lid).
The front-end of this EK will be converted, they build an ’99 EK front on the ’96 body.
Off course they've swap the engine, for an B16B.

FCT is dealer of many top-shelf product. With the D2 suspension kit, the car was dropped 9cm (3,5 inch).

The car has been completely stripped, and all of the interior has been removed. All of the excess holes in the engine bay are welded shut. To make it nice and clean. The battery and fuse-box are placed inside the car.
After about 200 man-hours the engine bay was nearly ready. They’ve stripped the power steering of the engine, and also all of the excess wires.

This is how they bought it..
